Engine optimisation

A focused recalibration of the standard engine software for smoother response, stronger everyday drivability and a more consistent power delivery.

Best forBest suited to riders who are happy with their BMW’s overall performance but want it to feel more polished, direct and enjoyable on the road.

No obligation and no generic recommendation. Compatibility, final specification and price are confirmed for your exact motorcycle.

Configuration

Fixed, predefined calibration

What changes

Designed to feel better everywhere you actually ride.

Engine optimisation improves the motorcycle’s standard calibration by refining the relevant ECU maps across the usable rev range. The aim is a cleaner connection between the throttle and rear wheel, with a more natural response when accelerating and at steady road speeds.

It keeps the bike’s fundamental character and standard hardware intact. This makes it the sensible route for riders who want to make better use of the performance already available without moving to a more involved Stage 1 or Stage 2 package.

More natural low-speed throttle control
Stronger response through the everyday rev range
Smoother and more consistent power delivery
No supporting performance hardware normally required

Configuration

One focused calibration.

Engine optimisation is supplied as a defined calibration rather than a menu of individual software functions. If you want selectable functions or a broader performance change, Stage 1 is usually the next conversation.

Defined setup

No selectable software extras are included with this option.

What happens next

Consult. Read. Calibrate. Verify.

01

Confirm the bike

We discuss model, year, mileage, fitted parts and what you want to improve.

02

Read and assess

The ECU software and motorcycle configuration are checked before a route is confirmed.

03

Prepare the calibration

Your software is matched to the model, hardware and agreed configuration.

04

Write and verify

The calibration is securely written, checked and explained before the bike is returned.

A VIN and additional vehicle details may be required before software is prepared. We explain exactly what is needed after the initial enquiry.
