The DNA Stage 2 Kit replaces the stock BMW air filter, including its plastic frame. Its deeper position in the airbox allows the filter to optimally utilize existing intake channels, guiding cool, fresh air precisely and evenly to the filter element. The flow-optimised design reduces turbulence and restrictions within the airbox. This improves the engine’s air supply, positively impacting torque, power delivery, and throttle response. At the same time, the generously sized filter surface ensures efficient air intake with reliable filtration. Another advantage of the Stage 2 Kit is its extended service life: the optimised air circulation and large filter surface allow for long service intervals, even on extended trips or during off-road use. The filter is washable and reusable, designed for durability. The Stage 2 Kit is suitable for both road and off-road use. For optimal system performance, adjusting the fuel mapping may be beneficial.
